Courage Conviction

Courage, friends. Courage.

These times require heart, both ventricles.

All in.

wine.box.coop is live. Or what ever the fuck we need call it. (If you only knew how many times I've backspaced and rewrote and deleted business names for the wine share idea.)

You know the thing I've been hinting at; circling around. That wine sharing idea that you said was so good. That one.

Go there. Be the change that squeezes the grapes and runneth over the cup. HERE.

Next steps:

Re-instate my corporate identity, joeeman llc.

Cancel all unneeded online bullshit/accounts. Go all fucking Marie Kondo on my computer and phone.

Remoriquet Nuits-St-Georges Les Bousselots 1er Cru 1996

This is what 11 year-old wine Pinot should taste like! That old smell -- what is it? Leather, like a book that's hasn't been read for a long time, a fungus, a moldy with fruit compote. The acids are creamy and the tannins melted. This is great. Thanks Frank!

Sport Peppers: Feel the Burn

Just had a hot dog with everything including celery salt and sport peppers from Chuck Wagon. Sport peppers don't offer much in the way of flavor, just a persistent burning sensation that makes my nose run.

Louis Dressner is a Crusty Arsehole

I think he is, anyway. Never met him. Having read his blog and hearing about his ride-alongs from sources who wish to remain anonymous. Nevertheless, he finds some kick ass wines, especially from the Loire.

Case in point: Clos des Briords Muscadet 2005.
